Reading MFR for Injection Grades

Melt flow rate is the fastest health check on an injection grade. At MFR 8, M80064 sits in the workhorse zone: enough flow to fill crate panels and pail walls, enough molecular weight for impact and load bearing.
Higher MFR eases filling of thin or long-flow parts but costs toughness; lower MFR builds strength but needs bigger machines and longer cycles. Selecting a grade is choosing where your part sits on that line.
When a lot arrives, compare its measured MFR against the datasheet value. Drift beyond tolerance signals wrong material or degradation, both of which show up later as warpage and brittle corners.
